The U.S. Navy Medical Corps is seeking Diagnostic Radiologists with a subspecialty in Hematology/Oncology to serve as full-time, in-person Naval Physicians. This role is ideal for Radiologists who are passionate about oncology-focused care and interested in combining top-tier clinical practice with service to country.

This opportunity is available nationwide, with assignments in California, Washington, Illinois, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and more.

No previous military experience is required. Full training and onboarding are provided.


Position Overview

  • Role: Diagnostic Radiologist (Medical Corps Officer) – Hematology/Oncology subspecialty

  • Status: Active Duty | In-Person Only

  • Location: U.S.-based military medical centers

  • Quota: 2 openings for this Diagnostic Oncology role

  • Note: This is the only radiology track where a 3- or 4-year service obligation is required and linked to bonus incentives.


Obligation-Based Bonus Incentives

  • 4-Year Obligation: $76,000 annually | Total Bonus: $304,000

  • 3-Year Obligation: $49,000 annually | Total Bonus: $147,000

These bonuses are in addition to base pay and other financial incentives.

  • Annual Compensation: $268,000–$300,000+

  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $375,000

Eligibility Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Age 21–64

  • Board certification generally accepted in:

    • Interventional Radiology

    • Neuroradiology

    • Nuclear Radiology

    • Pediatric Radiology

  • Strong preference for fellowship/subspecialty in Hematology/Oncology Radiology
