Responsibilities

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join our group in Fishers, Indiana. Our ideal candidate must have between 3-5 years of experience in a tertiary environment. This opportunity is a new position to help expand our established team of 9 Gastroenterologists and Advanced Practice Providers.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.
• Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
