About this role.

As a Physician our Senior Primary Care clinic, you will lead a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role, you will take care of a mostly geriatric population, using your medical expertise to care for patients with comorbidities and complex health needs. The patient volume for this clinic is approximately 20 patients a day.

• You will practice at Pahrump Medical Office Building
• Your hours will be 4 10-hour shifts with no call and the possibility to conduct virtual workdays from home throughout the year
• This position includes a $25,000 stipend on top of your base salary

Our 58,000-square-foot medical office building in Pahrump offers an exceptional environment for caregivers and the local community. This modern facility houses a multi-specialty practice with urgent care, primary care, cardiology, imaging, and specialty support all in one convenient location. The on-site retail pharmacy ensures easy access to medications, and the café provides a comfortable space to relax and recharge. Designed to support high-quality care, this facility fosters professional growth and patient satisfaction in a collaborative and collegial environment.

Requirements of this role:

• Unrestricted Nevada MD/DO license
• Current Nevada DEA certificate required prior to start date
• BC/BE in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Preferences for this role:

• Experience in managed care
• Experience in rural medicine
• 2+ years’ experience in primary care
