St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, a Level I Trauma Center, is seeking a Section Chief for our Pediatric Anesthesia Department. The anesthesia department delivers general anesthesia for surgery, cardiology and radiology. ideal candidate will provide care for both general pediatric surgical cases and cardiac procedures, as needed. This position is responsible for promoting excellence in the provision of perioperative care for patients undergoing pediatric surgery or procedures across the hospital, including the procedural population (pain management, radiology, etc). The chief will also be responsible for creating and executing a vision and a strategy for the division to contribute to the department's and St. Christopher’s academic, clinical and community missions.
