Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician - Full-time or Part-time | Division Director and Clinician Positions Available

Akron Children’s Hospital is seeking board-certified/board-eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physicians to join our growing team in Akron, Ohio. We are hiring for one Division Director (0.3 FTE admin / 0.7 FTE clinical) and two full-time or part-time clinical MFM physicians.

About the Position

  • Employed by Akron Children's Hospital (not-for-profit independent children’s hospital)

  • Inpatient and outpatient consultative MFM services

  • 36 clinical hours/week; telemedicine available

  • Epic EMR system

  • Division includes APPs, OB/GYNs, psychologist, social worker, sonographers, genetic counselors, nurses

  • Collaborative relationships with Summa Health and Aultman Hospital (combined ~8,500 annual deliveries)

  • Full pediatric and adult specialty support available

  • Faculty appointment and teaching opportunities with NEOMED, Summa, and Aultman OB-GYN residency programs

  • Research and hospital committee opportunities available

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO; BC/BE in OB-GYN and MFM

  • H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available

  • No geographic living restriction

  • Must be eligible for Ohio medical license

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary (approx. 35th percentile) + up to $15,000 in value-based incentives

  • $20,000 sign-on bonus

  • Up to $10,000 relocation assistance

  • Up to $60,000 in student loan forgiveness over 3 years

  • $1,250/month fellow stipend for 3rd-year trainees

  • $3,000 CME + 10 days CME time off

  • 20 days PTO + comprehensive benefits package

  • Occurrence-based malpractice coverage (self-insured)

  • License and DEA reimbursement
