Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician

About this role:

As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Our integrated Sports Medicine team uses state-of-the-art techniques, advanced procedures, and innovative therapies to design treatment plans that are customized to our patients’ specific needs and address the full continuum of care.

As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician in Las Vegas, you will build a practice and presence community. We anticipate you seeing predominantly adult patients, but an opportunity to treat patients of all ages for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, sports-related concussions, and procedures, including diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections and orthopedic biologics (PRP).

In this role you can anticipate:

  • Practicing primarily at the Sunset Physical Medicine Clinic in Las Vegas, NV. There may be future opportunities to occasionally provide care strategically within primary care clinics in Las Vegas.
  • Strong collaboration with our joint venture orthopedic group (Crovetti Orthopedics and Sports Medicine)
  • Providing care for the Las Vegas Raiderettes
  • Performing advanced injection techniques, platelet rich plasma, nerve blocks, diagnostic ultrasound, etc.
  • A signing bonus of $30,000.00 and relocation assistance up to $20,000.00.

What you’ll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Sports Medicine fellowship trained
  • Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care or PM&R Sports Medicine and Board Certification in Family Medicine or PM&R
  • Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
