About the Pediatric Cardiologist/Advanced Cardiac Imaging Position

The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center (DCMC) is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist with additional fellowship training in advanced cardiac imaging to support our rapidly growing team within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease (TCPCHD)

What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional patient care, leadership, and innovation alongside a team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.
  • Collaborate with research professionals including a statistician, research manager, and research coordinators.
  • Contribute to program development and growth.
  • Foster an environment that emphasizes patient care, team building, safety, quality and access for imaging services.
  • Work closely with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the leadership of the TCPCHD to execute on yearly personal and programmatic goals focused on the fundamentals of extraordinary care.
  • Partner with the Department of Radiology and various departments from UT Health and The University of Texas at Austin.
  • Provide patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • Supervise advanced practice providers.
  • Participate in Hospital service rotation.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Texas.
  • Advanced fellowship training in the area of Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, and associated imaging modalities.
  • Eligible for faculty appointment at The University of Texas at Austin.
