Broward HealthPoint, an affiliate of Broward Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine physicians to join our growing outpatient community health clinic in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient care, possess excellent clinical skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully outpatient role, no hospital call or rounding
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Focusing on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Demonstrates both autonomy and proficiency in the performance of comprehensive health assessments and communicates Plan of Care with Patients and/or their families.
  • Proficient in diagnosing, treating and managing the underserved population with comorbidities.
  • Effectively communicates with all members of the care team and facilitates a medically appropriate and effective plan of care to avoid unnecessary duplication of testing and fragmentation of care.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine (ABFM). 
  • Valid medical license in the state of FL, or ability to obtain a FL license and DEA.
