Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, primary care sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers, and physician assistants. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive sports medicine care, including injury prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Participate in game coverage, training room consultations, and travel with affiliated athletic teams
• Engage in community-based orthopedic care
• Contribute to academic teaching and research initiatives in collaboration with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Eligible for the CAQ in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine is required
• Experience in caring for high-level athletic programs or professional teams is preferred
• A commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research
