Responsibilities

Ascension St. Vincent Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a part-time (.5 FTE) Family Medicine Board Certified Physician Faculty Member.  This position is a great teaching opportunity in an immersive academic atmosphere within the FM residency program. It is an excellent opportunity for a junior faculty member to learn outpatient staffing, resident teaching and practice management from a team of experienced faculty.

Working at our Outpatient Clinic, the Primary Care Center, you become a part of something very special.  It is rewarding to care for all persons - rich, poor, vulnerable, immigrant, refugee, coworker. In this work, you will be joining others with a similar mission and vision. You will primarily work with family medicine resident learners of different levels, but may also encounter learners in other fields to develop your skills as a clinician, educator and mentor.

The potential exists to combine with 0.5 FTE AIMS if the applicant desires.

Preference will be given to candidates who are able to provide prenatal care and staff in office procedures typical of FM (LARC, skin biopsy, joint injection, POCUS, etc).

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
