The EP program at McKay-Dee is a part of an integrated system-wide EP team within Intermountain Health. This position is to replace a long tenured partnered who will be retiring. The other 2 EP physicians have more than 10 years of experience at McKay-Dee and are part of a large employed group of cardiologists and APPs. They are well established, happy, healthy, and looking for a new partner to continue the years of successful collaboration.
Practice Information:
Committed electrophysiology laboratories to allow complex ablations and electrophysiology procedures including PFA, and epicardial VT ablation
Supported by a multi-specialty cardiology practice, including invasive and noninvasive specialists, heart failure program, advanced cardiac imaging, structural heart disease program, cardiovascular surgeons, and many advanced practice providers, including 4 dedicated EP APPs in the clinic and 3 APPs in the hospital with more than 50 years of combined experience in EP alone.
Access to modern hybrid operating room and collaboration with CT surgery for chronic lead extraction
Laboratories are equipped with sophisticated mapping systems and ablation modalities
Atrial appendage occlusion program performed in concert with EP and Structural Cardiologists

What you’ll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Electrophysiology and/or related board certification
Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
U.S. ACGME Residency
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
