Aspirus Health is seeking a physician to join our Medical Informatics team. In this builder position, you will use your expertise to improve the EHR experience among frontline users.
Working with a multidisciplinary team, the builder will dedicate approximately .2 of their FTE to assist in:
- Identifying EHR enhancement and optimization opportunities.
- Providing physician and APC perspective in decisions about technology functionality and usability.
- Assist in EHR implementations, enhancement adoption, and upgrades.
- Assist with clinical integration across the system.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Two years of clinical experience, including knowledge of EPIC and associated clinical systems.
- Prior experience with EPIC as a superuser, or similar status.
- Certification, documented CME, or other education specifically in clinical informatics or willingness to pursue.
- Epic certification and maintenance pertinent to role, or willingness to pursue.
Work in conjunction with the Medical Director of Medical Informatics, Director of Nursing Informatics, IT teams, and other system leaders to improve the efficiency and experience of your fellow clinicians.
