Orthopedic Spine Surgeon

About this role: 

As an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon part of the Neurosurgery team at Intermountain Health, you will work with a large system-wide team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

In this role, you can anticipate:

• Clinical and surgical cases at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, with potential to rotate to Intermountain Medical Center, Alta View Hospital, TOSH, and Riverton

• Working 2-days/week in clinic and 3-days/week of OR surgical time
• Spine surgery at a level II trauma center

• Call to cover your practice with occasional support for other physicians in group
• This position includes a sign-on bonus

An ideal candidate will have experience in spine surgery and advanced spine care, with interest in local leadership.

What you’ll bring: 

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine 
• ACGME accredited residency training in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Board certified in Spine Surgery
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one 
• BLS certification and DEA 
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
