Responsibilities:
Pediatrix has an opportunity for a BE/BC Neonatologist to join our 7-physician practice in Colorado Springs.
Coverage Locations:
- Children's Hospital Colorado: 53-bed Level III NICU
- UCHealth Memorial Central: Level IIIB NICU with a delivery service, 20 beds
- Parkview Medical Center: Level II NICU in Pueblo
Key Highlights:
- Combined Annual Admissions: 1,100+
- Average Daily Census (ADC): 60+
- Shifts: Averaging 17-20 total shifts per month (5-6 being 24-hr in-house call shifts)
- Hospital and Practice QI Committee Involvement

- Preferred Skills: Circumcision and PICC line placement capability
Services Provided:
- Advanced Care: High-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and body cooling
- Specialized Surgeries: Pediatric general surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, and a full array of medical subspecialists
- NNP Support: In-house call with 24-hour shifts, daily rounds with neonatologists, patient management, procedures, attendance at high-risk deliveries, and participation in QI initiatives

Salary Range: $200k - $310k based on years of experience, plus a lucrative annual bonus
