Orthopedic Spine Surgeon

Broward Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our growing orthopedic team in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. This is an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified surgeon who not only brings clinical excellence in spine surgery but also demonstrates strong leadership capabilities and passion for shaping the future of orthopedic care in a dynamic community-focused health system.

What You'll Do:

• Perform advanced surgical procedures with a focus on spine disorders, both minimally invasive and complex issues.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons, physiatrists, pain specialists, and rehabilitation teams.
• Take an active role in mentoring and developing clinical staff and orthopedics residents.
• Contribute to strategic planning and program development for spine services across the system.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical outcomes tracking.
• Represent Broward Health within the medical community and professional societies.

Qualifications: 

• Board-Certified in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Spine Surgery.
• Minimum 5-7 years of post-fellowship experience with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence.
• Proven leadership experience (formal or informal) with the ability to build consensus and drive programmatic growth. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration within a large health system.
