PearMed is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our team at the Lexington VA Hospital, affiliated with the University of Kentucky.
Position Details:
- Start Date: Immediate
- Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Contract Duration: Through 3/31/2026, with a possible 6-month extension
- Rate: $380/hour (1099), paid biweekly
- Credentialing: Fast process so you can get to work quickly
- Malpractice: Must provide your own coverage
- Location: 1101 Veterans Dr, Lexington, KY 40502
- Low RVUs Daily: Enjoy a manageable daily workload with low RVUs
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine
Clinical Scope:
- PET and SPECT scans
- Radioisotope therapy
- Ablation and hyperthyroid therapy
- Radiopharmaceuticals including Xofigo, Pluvicto, and Lutathera
Equipment &* Support*:
- GE Optima SPECT/CT and GE Discovery PET/CT
- Supported by nuclear medicine techs and a physicist
