The Medical Care Service Line is seeking an academic nephrologist to join the Renal Section. The Nephrologist is expected to participate in all aspects of kidney care, including having independent ambulatory clinic(s), inpatient rounding, and proficient in all modalities of dialysis (Peritoneal dialysis, Intermittent Hemodialysis, Continuous Kidney-Replacement therapy) and kidney transplantation.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm; this position will be on call nights, weekends and federal holidays for kidney transplant
Estimated salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Licensure: Licensed to practice in a State
Have demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care including training in kidney transplantation as this position is for full time transplant nephrology role at VA
Excellence in teaching renal fellows, medical residents, and medical students, as well as dedication to scholarship as evidenced by NIH-based research training in an academic center and a commitment to develop a research career.
