The Department of General Surgery at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Group are actively seeking a General Surgeon to provide a full range of general surgery practice with a focus on complex abdominal wall/hernia at its Tucson and South campus locations. The Division of General Surgery, Department of Surgery, is a dynamic environment offering comprehensive and multidisciplinary surgical and medical care for our patients. Our Surgeons provide the best in patient care, resident and medical student education and training, and extensive community and academic endeavors.
The department is seeking a general surgeon with a focus on minimally invasive surgery and a passion for complex abdominal wall reconstruction to join the Department of Surgery. The qualified candidate should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
Essential Functions:
The candidate selected will have the opportunity to develop a full-time clinical practice, educate residents and medical students and be encouraged to participate in clinical and/or basic science research and will have a faculty appointment.
