Hematologist/Oncologist at IU Health's New Hospital in Fort Wayne

Indiana University Health, Indiana's most comprehensive and top-ranked healthcare system, is actively recruiting a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. With a brand-new hospital opening in early 2027, and we are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join us as we prepare to launch this exciting new chapter in patient care.

Job Overview:

• 100% clinical, general hematology/oncology.
• Will include majority inpatient work, with opportunity for outpatient work at an infusion center in Fort Wayne.
• 4–5-day work week, no weekends (40 hours per week).
• Call schedule is TBD.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan
• Oversee the interdisciplinary team and provide medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services

Qualifications:

• BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
• Obtain IN license
• MD, DO or equivalent education
