The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is seeking Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists for full-time academic positions. Opportunities include Division Chief leadership as well as general faculty appointments, making this an ideal opportunity for both emerging and experienced physicians interested in advancing clinical care, teaching, and research.
Position Highlights:
Division Chief Appointment: $50K stipend in addition to $575K base salary; leadership role overseeing and shaping the MFM division
Faculty Appointments also available: Competitive starting salary $550K–$575K, with opportunities for career growth and leadership development
Academic faculty positions within Texas Tech Physicians, a leading multispecialty group
Outpatient-focused practice with flexible call schedule; telemedicine options under development
Robust patient volume (300–500 visits/month) with onsite ultrasound, NST, and procedures including amniocentesis
EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic in 2026)
Location: TTUHSC School of Medicine, 3601 4th Street, Lubbock, TX
Candidate Requirements:
MD, DO, or MBBS
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Eligible for Texas medical license
H1B visa candidates welcome
Leadership experience preferred for Division Chief role
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $575,000 (plus $50K leadership stipend for Division Chief)
Sign-on bonus negotiable
Relocation assistance up to $15,000
CME allowance: $3,500 with up to 20 days
