Newport Hospital, an award-winning community-based hospital and member of the Brown University Health system, has an opening for an Ob/Gyn. The outpatient clinic is located within the hospital and the longevity of our physicians speaks volumes for the work-life balance and sense of community support. Newport Hospital does approximately 500 births per year.

About the job:

  • Join 3 other Ob/Gyns and 3 full-time midwives
  • 5 clinic days, .5 day OR time per week and 1 day of protected admin time
  • Call is 1:5
  • Dedicated MA with strong RN and administrative support
  • Easy access to subspecialty support
  • Time is split roughly 50% OB, 50% Gyn
  • Eleven-room birthing center with spacious rooms and hot tubs, many with views of Newport Harbor
  • Lactation support, level 2 ultrasound, radiology, advanced cervical screening and comprehensive postpartum support program
