ECU Health Physicians, in partnership The Outer Banks Health Hospital, located in Nags Head, NC are seeking an experienced full-time board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician to serve as Medical Director and Chair of their Emergency Services Department. The successful applicant will provide direct clinical care in addition to managing operations. Key management responsibilities will include staffing, financial management, performance improvement, and driving quality and safety initiatives.

Outer Banks Health Hospital (OBH) is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 21-bed facility is part of the ECU Health system of care and is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. Its campus includes four ORs, a medical/surgical unit, a labor & delivery suite with a dedicated cesarean section OR, a full rehabilitation therapy center, cancer treatment and radiation therapy center, and a 24-hour emergency department.
