Rochester Regional Health is seeking a visionary physician leader to serve as System Executive Medical Director of Neurosciences. This is an extraordinary opportunity to advance a unified neurosciences program spanning neurology, neurosurgery, stroke, and PM&R across 8 hospitals and 600+ care sites in Western and Northern New York.

  • Regional PM&R anchored by the CARF-accredited Golisano Restorative Neurology & Rehabilitation Center
  • Systemwide tech: RapidAI, Brainlab, IONM, O-arm, genomics partnership with Helix
  • Governance built on a true dyad model with operational and clinical alignment

What Success Looks Like:

  • Unified stroke workflows and regional access expansion
  • Recruitment of key subspecialists to meet demand
  • Telestroke and Teleneuro program growth
  • Consistent experience for patients across urban, suburban, and rural settings

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO; Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R
  • Proven system-level leadership in an academic or integrated health system
  • Strategic, collaborative, relationship-driven
  • Clinical component approximately 40%, adjustable depending on specialty and interest

Compensation:

  • Neurology base: $500,000–$600,000
  • Neurosurgery base: $1,200,000–$1,400,000
  • Executive and clinical incentives, defined benefit pension, relocation, malpractice with tail, and more
