Position Highlights

  • Join a collegial, stable team of 3 experienced Emergency General Surgeons
  • Dedicated OR time for urgent/emergency cases
  • Surgically fulfilling, high-acuity case mix including appendicitis, bowel obstruction, soft tissue infections, ischemic bowel, and more
  • Strong Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support and efficient clinical workflows
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties
  • Be part of developing a new General Surgery Residency Program (launch expected within 2 years)
  • Practice in a physician-led system with a clear commitment to professional growth and well-being

What You Bring

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
  • Fellowship training ideal, not required (Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery, or Trauma)
  • Minimum 3 years of independent Emergency General Surgery experience required
  • NYS Medical License or eligibility
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of surgeons
