General Surgery Manager Opportunity- University Hospital

IU Health University Hospital, located in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Manager for the General Surgery department. This general surgery department will work with general surgery needs, some emergency general surgery and some colorectal as well. This department will work with 7 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider. 

The ideal candidate must have strong clinical skills and management experience and be willing to work in a team atmosphere, make independent decisions, have strong communication skills and a desire to work with learners.

Job Description:

• APP manager overseeing day to day operations of General Surgery advanced practice provider group
• Serves to recruit and onboard new APP's, evaluates and supports existing APP's
• 70-80% clinical and 20-30% administrative
• 100% inpatient
• 40 hours/week
