Practice Model & Schedule
- Outpatient clinic Monday through Friday - predictable schedule with no weekend clinic hours
- Weekend call rotation for normal newborn rounds at Mease Countryside Hospital (equipped with Level III NICU)
- NO delivery attendance requirements - focus purely on pediatric care

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Clinical Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Residency training from an accredited pediatric program
- Current medical license (Florida license preferred, but we'll assist with licensure)
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

Position Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
- Comprehensive pediatric care for patients from birth through 18 years of age
- Outpatient clinic management across our three convenient locations
- Well-child visits, sick visits, and preventive care following AAP guidelines
- Acute and chronic disease management with evidence-based protocols
Hospital Duties
- Newborn rounds at Mease Countryside Hospital one weekday per week
- Weekend call coverage for newborn rounds every 4th weekend
- Collaboration with NICU team for complex cases as needed
- Hospital discharge planning and coordination with primary care
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor Nurse Practitioners in clinical practice
- Collaborative care planning with mid-level providers
- Quality assurance and clinical oversight responsibilities
- Participate in practice improvement initiatives and policy development
Professional Activities
- Maintain current medical knowledge through continuing education
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Documentation and coding compliance with current standards
- Family education and counseling on pediatric health topics
