Job Summary:

St. David's Healthcare would like to recruit a practicing or new graduate general surgeon to join an established and busy private practice group in Austin, TX.

Qualified Candidates:

  • Board certified and/or board eligible general surgeon
  • New graduate or recently practicing providers accepted
  • Robotic certification highly recommended, 2 partners are Da Vinci robot proctors
  • Acute care and elective practice
  • Bread and butter GS and advanced GS operations
  • MIS experience encouraged
  • GME Involvement
  • Call rotation: 1:7 weekend call, ER call 4-6 days/month
  • Primary facility is St. David’s South Austin Medical Center; call coverage  at two other St. David’s hospitals
  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of general surgeons dedicated to excellence in patient care.
  • General surgery group providing care to the Austin community since 1977; group of 6 surgeons.
