Position Overview

Sinai Chicago seeks a board-certified (or board-eligible) Neurologist to join our dynamic neurology team. In this full-time role, you will provide comprehensive neurological care across inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teach residents and fellows, and contribute to clinical research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations, diagnosis, and management for patients with neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, headaches)

  • Provide care in both outpatient clinics and inpatient consults at Sinai Medical Center and affiliated hospitals

  • Interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EEG, EMG/NCS); procedural training available if not yet certified

  • Collaborate closely with neurosurgery, neuropsychology, radiology, rehabilitation medicine, primary care, and other specialties

  • Participate in resident and fellow education and provide mentorship

  • Support quality improvement measures, ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, and help drive research initiatives

  • Engage in community outreach and educational activities to raise neurological health awareness

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • U.S. Neurology board-certified or board-eligible

  • Illinois medical license (current or in progress)

  • Demonstrated clinical excellence and commitment to patient-centered care

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Fellowship-trained neurologists encouraged to apply, especially subspecialists in stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuro-immunology, or neuromuscular medicine
