The Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) at the University of Louisville in Louisville KY seeks two additional fellowship-trained physicians to join its current academic faculty.
The successful candidates will provide clinical services at UofL Hospital, at our outpatient clinic and additional hospital outreach areas. The position includes the opportunity to become the Fellowship Director or Division Chief. No Obstetrical call is required. Additionally, the position can include access to an established GYN clinic and an underutilized Xi Robot through the VA clinic here in Louisville.
The downtown facility offers MIGS, general OB/GYN, and Maternal Fetal Medicine practices. Our Female Pelvic Medicine and Women’s Health (FPMRS) Division and Pelvic Pain Center are located on the East end campus. Additionally, the MIGS division provides in-patient and outpatient imaging services for the patients of Uof L Hospital, a Level I UofL Health facility.
Our existing MIGS fellowship is one of the longest-running in the country, and continues to be a premier program led by a world-renowned surgeon who is also the program’s co-founder.
There are ample research opportunities including access to basic science labs, a departmental statistician, departmental librarian and campus grant-writing services, as well as clinical a trials unit. The University of Louisville has access to robotic surgery, boasting one of the busiest programs in the region.
