Physician - Urgent Care Plus - Medical Center Southend

University of Louisville Physicians is seeking BE/BC family medicine or internal medicine/peds physicians to join our urgent care plus practices in Louisville. KY.

The practice location is 5129 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine; board certification in family or internal medicine/peds and eligibility for licensure in Kentucky are required. Clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine or emergency medicine is preferred.

• Possess knowledge to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
• Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Should have knowledge of an EMR system. Familiarity with EPIC is preferred; however, onsite EMR training will be provided.
• Have excellent judgment and discretion, the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Be a team player with a "can-do" attitude that can work in a fast-paced, customer service-driven environment
• Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
• Shifts are 12 hours and require evenings, 8 am to 8 pm.
• Three shifts a week (156 shifts a year).
• There is a weekend rotation requirement.
