Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our Internal Medicine Residency Continuity Clinic team working with and teaching residents.
Overview
- Full-time hospital employed position
- 100% outpatient setting
- Serve as a clinical preceptor, supervising and mentoring Internal Medicine residents in their continuity clinic
- Guide residents in evidence-based patient care, professional development, and practice management
- Supervise residents in their documentation in the EMR, writing of orders, and articulation of care plans by reviewing resident notes and adding the appropriate addendums
- Provide two didactic lectures per year
- Complete annual evaluations
- Work in a collaborative, team-based academic environment with opportunities for scholarly activities
Qualifications
- Board-certified in the United States
- Must have completed residency in the United States
- A strong interest in teaching residents in an academic clinical setting
