Job Description

In this role, you can anticipate:

  • This is an exclusively inpatient setting where you will work with a team of 5 APPs and 6 ortho trauma surgeons

  • Treating ortho trauma patients that come through the ER and/or transfers and consults from various inpatient services

  • As a part time position, minimum commitment is 20 hours/week

  • Working 10-11 hour per shift that will vary 7 days a week; including weekends and holidays

  • No call burden requirements

  • Occasional opportunity to be first assist on an ortho trauma surgical case; however, this is NOT a surgical based position

The ideal candidate will have current APP, ortho trauma experience and/or successfully completed a training rotation with experience in ortho trauma surgery.

What you’ll bring: 

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program 

  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one 

  • BLS certification and DEA 

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
