Job Description

IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Nephrology department. The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver outpatient care for adults with nephrology related diagnoses. 

Position Details: 

  • Provides outpatient clinic care in collaboration with physicians and other members of the healthcare team for nephrology care.
  • Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skills in health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, physical and psychosocial assessment, and management of health care individuals.
  • Performs care including but not limited to evaluation, assessment, and management of renal disease in the ambulatory care setting, such as complete history and physicals, complete and focused exams, review of systems, developing assessment and thorough plan of care, while evaluating acute and chronic disease states.
  • 32 patient facing hours and 8 administrative hours
  • 100% outpatient work
  • No Call

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, AGNP, FNP
  • Must have 3 years of experience in either inpatient or outpatient nephrology
