Internal Medicine/Family Physician Position

Duke Health seeks Internal Medicine/Family Physician for an established practice at Kernodle Clinic, Duke’s flagship practice in their western market. Kernodle Clinic is Duke’s largest community-based multi-specialty practice of 55 physicians and 40 mid-level providers covering 15 medical and surgical specialties. The practice includes 75,000 sq. ft. main office, plus a walk-in clinic and two satellite offices, one in Mebane and the other in Elon.

The hired physician’s practice will be based at the Burlington office and join eight physicians, three physician assistants and one nurse practitioner. The physicians share practice call (telephone only) with all 12 in the group. Making call once every 12 weeks. The office is open weekdays, 8-5pm. Kernodle Clinic’s specialist physicians practice in both the Burlington and Mebane Offices providing easy access for referrals from the Internal medicine group.

Centrally located in the piedmont area of North Carolina, Alamance County (pop. 175,000) includes the midsize communities of Burlington, Elon and Mebane, and straddles the Research
Triangle and Piedmont Triad Regions of North Carolina.
