The Lead Psychiatrist at San Antonio State Supported Living Center plays a crucial role in providing high-quality psychiatric treatment services. Some key responsibilities include:

• Directing and overseeing psychiatric examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
• Leading the interdisciplinary team and providing guidance on patient treatment
• Participating in peer review committees and clinical-related committees
• Reviewing and monitoring patient progress and treatment effectiveness
• Providing staff guidance, training, and performance evaluations

Key qualifications for this role include:

• MD license in Texas and Board Certification/Eligibility in Psychiatry
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a psychiatrist
• Experience with mental illness and intellectual disabilities preferred
