Podiatry Physician

About this role:

• Seeking a Podiatrist candidate that is passionate about wound care and limb preservation, with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes and quality of life

• This full time position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus; up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, if applicable; and a $75,000 student loan assistance incentive

• You will practice at Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital and at the Rocky Mountain Orthopedics Clinic in Grand Junction, Colorado

• Each week, you will anticipate 1 day of an outpatient wound clinic schedule and rounding with the inpatient wound team at St. Mary's Regional Hospital; 1 day in the OR and 2 days of outpatient care at the Rocky Mountain Orthopedics Clinic

• An ideal candidate will have:

  • Podiatry and wound care clinical experience

  • Limb preservation experience

  • Successfully completed a CWSP certification and/or agree to complete within time of employment

What you’ll bring:

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM); or equivalent if education is completed outside the United States 

• Completion of graduate medical education training program in Podiatry of practice.

• Active Medical Licensure, or in process of obtaining licensure, is required in the state in which physician will practice

• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

• DEA Registration schedules II-V
