Job description

  • Staff inpatient general neurology consult or stroke consult services 1.0 FTE consists of 12 total shifts per month: 6 day-shifts and 6 twenty-four-hour shifts (includes night-time home call)
  • Provide acute neurological care in the ED, inpatient wards, and acute rehabilitation (there is a separate neurocritical care service that sees neuro consults in the ICU)
  • Supervise and educate resident learners in neurology, internal medicine, and emergency medicine
  • Participate in once-a-month discharge clinic can be subspeciality focused if desired
  • Extra earning potential including: participation in Sutter Health's system-wide teleneurology and telestroke, GME teaching
  • Option to participate in QI and GME leadership roles
