We are seeking a dedicated Physician III to join our team at Rio Grande State Center. This role involves:

  • Leading and supervising medical staff
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and ordering necessary studies
  • Monitoring patient response to treatment and ensuring documentation meets standards
  • Overseeing infection control activities and providing consultation
  • Participating in audits and performance improvement activities
  • Providing treatment to injured employees
  • Maintaining professional competencies through CME programs

Key requirements include:

  • Knowledge of APRN scope of practice and public health principles
  • Skills in patient care, project management, and problem resolution
  • Ability to examine, diagnose, and treat disorders
  • Effective communication and supervision skills
