Responsibilities

Ascension Medical Group is looking for a PRN BC/BE Internal Medicine Hospitalist for our Hospitalist team in McMinnvile, TN.

Ascension Saint Thomas River Park

• This 125-bed critical access hospital is nestled halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga in the beautiful countryside of McMinnville, TN
• Offers 24/7 Onsite Hospitalist Coverage and a busy ER staffed by board-certified emergency physicians
• The hospital features an Acute Care Floor as well as a 15-bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit and inpatient unit expansion plans in progress
• The hospital recently acquired a $7.6 million grant from the state, which will be matched by Ascension Saint Thomas, to expand the emergency department (ED) and intensive care unit (ICU).

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.

Education:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
