Ophthalmologist - Retina Specialist

University Retina is a full-service practice that specializes in helping patients heal eyesight-robbing diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula. Led by a team of board-certified ophthalmologists and retina specialists, the practice has locations in Oak Forest, Bedford Park, Lemont, and Lombard, Illinois.

With a dedication to education, technology, charity, and compassionate care, the University Retina team strives to provide patients with the highest level of retinal care in the world. The physicians diagnose and treat retinal-related conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment repair, and other disorders of the retina, vitreous, and macula.

All University Retina offices are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and each patient’s treatment plan includes the most current and effective therapies or services available.

Position Summary

This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a candidate interested in working in Oak Forest & Downers Grove offices! 

Our rapidly growing multi-location, multispecialty practice is seeking a Fellowship-trained Retina surgeon.

Our offices are well equipped with full staff and EHR.

Extra resources and partnership program through affiliation with EyeSouth Partners 

• Strategic Management Partner to help onboard and maximize potential for success. 
• Access to corporate support services to reduce administrative burden on 
  physicians and improve clinical efficiency. 
• Network of 300+?ophthalmologists and optometrists. 
• Eligible for partnership after 1-2 years for experienced hires and 2-3 years for 
  residents/fellows. 

Responsibilities

Candidate should be Board certified or Board eligible and willing to work with current medical staff to manage an already established significant surgical volume.
