This role is responsible for providing PM&R services within Kansas City VA Medical Center facility. The physician may be asked to provide care in multiple areas within PM&R including but not limited to EMGs, Amputee Clinic, General Rehab Clinic, PRP clinic, SCI clinic, and other areas as needed, but all within the KCVA main location.
Each member of the PM&R physician team providers perform all of the wide array of services as offered within PM&R. Services include providing direct patient care for general rehab issues, traumatic brain injury, outpatient stroke management, chronic pain, amputations, electromyography, spinal cord injuries, sports injuries, spasticity management, headache management, joint injections with corticosteroids as well as with platelet rich plasma, as well as several other functions within the scope of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
