Pediatric Endocrinologist

Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health is looking for full-time BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist to join the faculty. While we expect that this would be at the assistant or associate professor level, any rank will be considered. CMU Health supports several residency programs including pediatrics and all of our physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students. Our team consists of qualified professionals who are dedicated to education and providing excellent care to our communities. This role includes resident and medical student education. There is an opportunity for a formal educational or administrative position, for those who desire programmatic leadership and have the requisite experience. POSITION DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed individual who is inspired to support a growing Pediatric Residency program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both inpatient and outpatient service consults as well as working with medical students and program residents. This opportunity provides flexibility to fit candidates into the appropriate setting for the success of the program as well as the development of the candidate. This position is full time, employed position that offers a very competitive salary, vacation, benefits, malpractice, etc. Candidate must be able to obtain a Michigan license and interested in scholarly activities.

  

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • MD
  • State of Michigan licensed or eligible
  • Board-eligible or certified in Pediatrics
  • Controlled Substance license
  • Must meet credentialing criteria
  • Fellowship trained preferred
