Physician - Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center (SSLC)

Join our team as a Physician specializing in providing advanced medical care to individuals with intellectual disabilities at the State Supported Living Center (SSLC). Your role will involve diagnosing and treating individuals with complex medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health needs, as well as developing and overseeing implementation of health care plans with measurable goals.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community medical providers to ensure comprehensive care. Additionally, you will participate in DOJ compliance initiatives and provide treatment to injured employees, contributing to a holistic healthcare approach.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality medical services, updating treatment strategies, providing acute care, overseeing medication reviews, and ensuring accurate and timely medical documentation. Your expertise will be crucial in improving SSLC medical services and responding to campus medical emergencies.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Medical Doctor in Texas with DEA registration and NPI#. Experience in general medicine, patient care, and emergency response is required. Effective communication skills and residency training are preferred.
