Lead Dentist Opportunity in Corpus Christi

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist II to join our team at the Supported Living Center in Corpus Christi. As a Lead Dentist, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced dental care to individuals with diverse needs, including those in community-based settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct dental services to individuals with challenging behavioral and medical issues
  • Overseeing a team of dental professionals to ensure quality care
  • Evaluating dental care and making recommendations for improvement
  • Developing desensitization practices for individuals with unique needs
  • Documenting dental services and communicating effectively with individuals and their families

In addition to your clinical duties, you will also provide treatment to injured HHS employees and participate in disaster response efforts when needed. To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in general practice dentistry
  • Knowledge of best practices in oral hygiene and healthcare
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with individuals with disabilities
  • Leadership skills to effectively guide your team
  • Active licensure as a dentist in Texas and relevant certifications
