Mass General Brigham is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist in Northampton, Massachusetts. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in both an outpatient and inpatient setting, including service at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, a member of the Mass General Brigham system.

About the Opportunity:

  • Position based in Northampton with inpatient consultative cardiology responsibilities at Cooley Dickinson Hospital
  • Primary focus on cardiac electrophysiology, including the evaluation and management of arrhythmias, device implantation and management of cardiac implantable devices, electrophysiology studies and ablations of atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias
  • General cardiology care as part of the broader cardiology team
  • Outpatient clinic responsibilities and participation in rotational call coverage
  • Collegial practice environment with strong ties to the Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultation and management for patients with arrhythmias and conduction disorders
  • Perform device implantations (pacemakers, defibrillators) and manage device clinics
  • Conduct electrophysiology studies and ablations as clinically appropriate
  • Manage inpatient consults and collaborate with hospital teams at Cooley Dickinson Hospital
  • Participate in an equitable rotational call schedule
  • Collaborate closely with cardiology and primary care colleagues to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality improvement and practice development initiatives

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
  • Excellent clinical, procedural, and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
