UCHealth Medical Group and our surgical group in Colorado Springs are ready to welcome a board-eligible/certified Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon with fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care to their team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time and focused on excellent patient care. • The service covers trauma, emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and manages a high volume of high acuity patients at our Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Be part of a team growing to include eighteen surgeons and a robust team of APPs. You'll have an incredible support staff and a collegial team at your side.
• Our group mentors and supports general surgery residents on clinical rotations from the University of Colorado.

• The pay range for this full-time position is $495,000-$550,000 annually. If applicable, a quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered.

Most trauma patients are seen first in the emergency department. Once patients are stabilized, the trauma team takes over. This team stays with you or your family member throughout the critical care stage providing valuable care, communication and comfort to both the patient and family members.
