The Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks 2 board certified / board eligible faculty physicians (open rank) for our expanding Lung Transplant Program.? These positions are located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital.

Position Highlights: 

• Build a strong academic career within a collaborative, multidisciplinary transplant team

• Active involvement in evaluation of patients being considered for lung transplantation, as well as ongoing care of patients who have undergone transplant

• Provide both inpatient & outpatient care. Inpatient care will focus on managing transplant candidates & post-transplant patients during hospitalization, working closely with surgery, critical care, infectious disease, & other specialty teams. Outpatient care will include pre-transplant assessments, longitudinal post-transplant follow-up, & participation in multidisciplinary transplant clinics.

• Balanced mix of clinical care, teaching, academic development, & research within a supportive environment committed to expanding & strengthening lung transplant services

• The Transplant Center at Froedtert Hospital offers exceptional care for adults who need heart, lung, kidney, liver & pancreas transplants. Comprehensive adult transplant programs certified by Medicare & Medicaid, offering survival rates that meet or exceed national benchmarks

• A joint program of Children’s Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital, the academic medical center of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network, with vital support by Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin for tissue typing & research initiatives. • ABIM Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Pulmonary & Critical Care

• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Wisconsin
