The Duke Anesthesiology Division of Community Anesthesiology is seeking full-time faculty members for roles at locations in the Raleigh/Durham region. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC in anesthesiology with a commitment to clinical excellence and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Role highlights:

  • 8-10 hour shifts of both inpatient surgical sessions/ambulatory OR sessions
  • Average workload is 2,080 scheduled credit hours annually of in-house clinical services.
  • Includes a proportion of day shifts, equitable in-house call (nights and weekends) and additional home call responsibilities.
  • Responsibilities include nerve blocks, strong interest in regional anesthesiology a plus
  • Everyday is different, patient population includes children and adults in various settings
  • MD only and overseeing CRNAs, train anesthesiology residents and SRNAs
  • Call is one night a week
