Clinical Psychologist Needed in Dallas State Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Dallas State Hospital. As a Psychologist II, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced psychological services under the guidance of the State Hospital Director of Psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate psychological activities and programs
  • Conduct psychological evaluations, diagnoses, and counseling
  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation
  • Offer guidance to psychology trainees

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide individual and group counseling
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests
  • Supervise other mental health professionals
  • Implement specialized treatment programs
  • Develop training programs for staff and clients
  • Design behavior modification and skill acquisition plans
  • Evaluate mental health services
  • Provide training and expert consultation to multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in psychology
  • Licensure as a Psychologist in Texas or reciprocity state
  • Experience in psychological work and conducting psychotherapy
