St. Peter’s Health Partners is offering a new hospital-employed Weekend Track Cardiologist opportunity. This role is ideal for Cardiologists seeking a more balanced lifestyle while maintaining the security of full-time employment and benefits. You’ll provide inpatient-only weekend coverage and enjoy greater flexibility during the weekdays.

Position Highlights

  • Join a collaborative team of over 25 cardiologists and advanced practitioners
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based cardiovascular care at Samaritan Hospital in Troy
  • Weekend-focused schedule with flexibility and strong support from experienced colleagues
  • Fri, Sat, Sun OR Sat, Sun, Mon (12 hour shifts)
  • Includes inpatient rounding and consultative cardiology services at Samaritan Hospital
  • Access to a full spectrum of cardiology services including echo, vascular, nuclear, and structural heart programs
  • Robust infrastructure with advanced practitioner support and a large referral network

 

St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates, P.C. offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes the following:

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE:

  • Year 1: $550,000 base salary guarantee
  • Year 2: $600,000 base salary guarantee
  • Year 3: $650,000 base salary guarantee
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
  • Starting Bonus: $75,000
  • Retention Bonus: $25,000 at 2-year anniversary
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $25,000 (for candidates residing more than 50 miles outside the NY Capital Region)

St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates, P.Ca physician-governed, multi-specialty group, is a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners in NY's Capital District. St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates provides a new model of physician practice that permits St. Peter’s Health Partners to evolve as a health system with strong physician participation while allowing physicians to retain those aspects that make private practice work well in the care of patients. It is one of the largest multi-specialty physician group practices in the region with more than 20 specialties and sub-specialties represented, over 350 providers in 2014, and more than 40 office locations in a six county region.
